4. Conclusion
In this article, we first highlight the limitations of commercial software for both magnetostatic analysis and electromagnetic simulations of ferrite-based microwave devices. To address these limitations, we propose a new approach to more accurately model the static and dynamic properties of a ferrite subjected to a bias field. This procedure is divided into two stages. The first step, based on a rigorous magnetostatic simulation, calculates the ferrite's internal static magnetic field, as well as its magnetization state. The magnetization is calculated in each mesh cell using the Stoner and Wohlfarth model, enabling a local hysteresis cycle to be described. The second step is to use a generalized permeability tensor model developed in the laboratory, which predicts the spectra of the various components of the permeability tensor, whatever the magnetization state of the material, and takes...
