2.1 Description of the generalized permeability tensor (GPT) model

The founding idea of the permeability tensor model we have developed in our laboratory is to take into account the dynamic interactions between adjacent magnetic domains, in order to better describe magnetic losses in weak fields. This phenomenon was described qualitatively by Polder and Smit . It is also known as the Polder-Smit effect. Our aim was to take it into account quantitatively when calculating the permeability of polycrystalline ferrites.
