4. UPS and power supply compatibility

4.1 General approach

The definition of the UPS must take into account the nature and characteristics of the power supply.

  • Type of food :

    • low-voltage supply from the public grid ;

    • supplied by a MV/LV transformer ;

    • presence of an alternative source: combustion engine and alternator.
