4. Spacers
Spacers are used to maintain conductor spacing in the case of lines with phases made up of several cables, known as sub-conductors (figure 7 ). The advantage of bundled cables is that they reduce the corona effect. Depending on the number of subconductors per phase, the spacer is said to be double, triple, quadruple, etc.
