7. Conclusion
Magnetic circuits can be described by analogy with electrical circuits. The main difficulty lies in determining numerical values for the various permeances or reluctances. This requires knowledge of the distribution of induction field lines and tubes. What's more, the non-linear nature of ferromagnetic circuits often requires a process of iteration. The contribution of finite elements to the analysis of such structures is undeniable. But this method is essentially analytical, since it requires knowledge of the system geometry.
The use of a system-equivalent magnetic circuit offers a powerful analysis and design tool.
