1. Methods for implementing control algorithms
Implementation is defined as the introduction of a given functionality onto a physical medium. In the context of electrical machine control, the functionality to be introduced constitutes the control algorithm, whose aim is to control the state of evolution of the electrical or mechanical variables of the electrical machine (current, flux, power, torque, speed...). The physical support is the implementation target. This may be analog or digital. In the case of an analog target, control is designed via analog circuits. In the case of a digital target, the control algorithm is discretized and implemented via digital solutions.
