Overview
FrançaisABSTRACT
This article extends a previous one devoted to an elementary approach of the transmission lines theory. This novel article composed of three main sections deal firstly with the behavior of propagation phenomena on the line terminated by various types of non linear loads. Second section will be targeted about the study of the propagation occurring on two coupled lines. The problem will be solved by means of the eigenvalues leading to the concept of modes expressed in terms of amplitudes and propagation constants. To conclude, the third section will be focused toward the crosstalk coupling happening between two lines. Analytical formula of crosstalk voltages appearing at both ends of the receiving line will be established.

INTRODUCTION
This article is a natural extension of
It is also worth remembering that the applications of line theory, as discussed in these two articles, are primarily concerned with carrier-current telecommunication processes and issues relating to the electromagnetic compatibility of electronic equipment .
The text is subdivided into three parts: non-linear loads, coupled lines and crosstalk phenomena.
The first part will address the question of line operation in the typical configuration where one end is connected to a source of electrical energy or signals and the opposite end to a device referred to under the general term of non-linear load. Based on physical considerations, non-linear loads will be divided into three classes according to their behavior in relation to the amplitude and time variables carried by the signals.
The second part deals with the matrix transcription of line theory. The matrix concept will be used to address the propagation of currents and voltages on lines with mutual electromagnetic interactions, also known as coupled lines. For didactic reasons, the theoretical developments presented here will be restricted to a system consisting of two coupled lines. Under this simplified configuration, it will be shown that the currents and voltages transported on the lines boil down to the superposition of two eigenmodes. The eigenmodes are then matched by virtual primary and secondary parameters...
