1. Classification and conditions of use of industrial coatings

1.1 Brief classification

There are four main categories of industrial soil:

  • incorporated floors, corresponding to the incorporation of a material into the fresh concrete of the paving body on its surface;

  • applied screeds, where the wearing course is applied to the concrete slab;

  • bitumen-based soils, derived from road technology;

  • floors made from synthetic resins (polymer-type materials).

Other types of industrial coatings can also be used. Another classification based on different criteria can be proposed:
