2. Different types of litigation
Recourse in the event of an accident at work generally concerns the nature of the accident or illness itself, or its consequences (disability rate for the victim and accident rate for employers, for example).
Until January 1 2020, a distinction was made between general litigation and technical litigation, whether medical or related to pricing. These two types of litigation, known as "Social Security litigation", have now been replaced by the distinction "non-medical litigation" for general litigation and "medical litigation" for the rest.
