1. New regulations
1.1 Obligations of suppliers or manufacturers of building products
Suppliers or manufacturers of building products are required to obtain an M or Euroclass reaction-to-fire rating for each of their new or existing products when these are specifically intended for use in ERP (Établissements Recevant du Public).
These classifications are obtained from a laboratory approved by the French Ministry of the Interior to carry out reaction-to-fire tests. The classification is issued in the form of an official report, to which the test report is appended.
