11. Special provisions for AIA premises
11.1 Principles (article U 33)
Pulmonary anaesthesia, using products liable to form an explosive mixture with the ambient atmosphere, which can ignite in the presence of sparks or hot spots, is reserved for special rooms for exclusive use. These rooms, designated by the letters AIA (Anesthésiques Inflammables Autorisés - Authorized Flammable Anesthetics), must be marked on their access doors.
