 INTRODUCTION

This Technical Instruction, dated November 11, 2009, supersedes Technical Information Notes no. 236 of August 31, 1979, no. 244 of May 18, 1981 and no. 251 of February 27, 1987. Its purpose is to define the minimum rules for special technical installations and effect machines used in the presence of the public.

Any other effects machine installed in a public-access building (ERP) that could pose a risk to the public must be submitted for authorization in accordance with article GN 6 of the safety regulations (§ 2.3 of [TBA 3 000] ).
