1.1 Definitions
Waste is defined at European level as any substance or object which the holder discards or is obliged to discard.
Construction site waste is any waste produced by the building and public works sector. It arises from the construction, demolition or rehabilitation of buildings. Subject to strict regulations, waste disposal is the responsibility of its producers and holders, in accordance with the French Environment Code.
