7. Organization of a firm of experts
In France, expert firms vary widely in size, from :
one person alone, or even assisted by a secretary, as is the case for most forensic experts;
a group of experts numbering around a hundred, spread across the country, as well as a number of construction insurance appraisal firms.
The number of missions will obviously be very different.
A priori, it goes without saying that a highly specialized technician will be called upon less frequently than a generalist firm.
