Insurance
Direct action – Action (or right) of an injured party (or victim) against the insurer of the liable party for compensation.
Apétiteur – Insurance company acting on behalf of all insurers under a group contract.
Existing – Old parts of a structure being rehabilitated, repaired and/or transformed.
Reinsurance – Contract between an insurer and others covering the former's share of the risks under a contract.
Recourse – Action by the injured party or victim against the party presumed liable.
Revaluation – Revaluation of a value due to changes in certain variables.
