6. Content of the partnership contract

6.1 Legal framework provided by the Public Order Code

  • The holder's relations with its suppliers

    At the request of any service provider called upon to perform the contract, the contractor must provide a bond with a financial institution to guarantee payment of the sums due to the service provider (art. L. 2232-6 of the CCP). These services must be paid within a maximum period of 30 days when the holder of the partnership contract calls on SMEs or craftsmen (art. R. 2232-1 of the CCP); with suppliers who are neither SMEs nor craftsmen, the holder may agree a maximum payment period of 45 days end of month after the date of issue of the invoice (art. L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code).
