15. Injection and consolidation resins

We saw earlier that when cracks appear in a building, they can be sealed with very fluid, epoxy-based injection resins.

These epoxy resins have a very high level of adhesion to all building materials, and a very high level of cohesion, so they enable the two opposing parts to be "bonded" firmly and permanently together, thus consolidating the structure and sealing the crack.

Examples include EPONAL injection resins from ATO FINDLEY or SIKADUR from SIKA.
