8. On-site manufacture and installation

  • Vacuum transfer lines are manufactured according to the rules of piping and boiler making.

    Welding activity must be managed, monitored and certified as required by building codes.

    The special requirements of this manufacturing process are :

    – the cleanliness of the internal piping, to avoid polluting the fluid, and the cleanliness of the interwall forming the insulation void. The rate of outgassing depends mainly on the cleanliness of the wall surfaces. A cleanliness control plan is generally requested from the manufacturer to guarantee compliance with this requirement;
