3.1 Input data required for sizing
As already mentioned, each air-cooled condenser is specifically sized to meet the customer's requirements.
The data required by the customer to size an air-cooled condenser are as follows:
all possible cases of operation for which performance must be guaranteed;
design steam flow ;
maximum and minimum steam flow ;
pressure at condenser inlet or turbine exhaust flange;
enthalpy of the steam or mass titer of steam entering the condenser ;
design ambient temperature ;
