
4. Installation, commissioning and operation
Air-cooled condensers are generally delivered disassembled and have to be assembled on site, usually by a company other than the manufacturer. Here, we present a few general points to bear in mind to ensure smooth installation, commissioning and operation of the atmospheric condenser. It is strongly recommended that a supervisor supplied by the manufacturer be on site to coordinate the assembly of the unit, comprising the air-cooled condenser and its auxiliaries.
4.1 Storage instructions
For storage longer than 3 months, we recommend :
drain condensate from complete unit;
keep bundle manifolds closed with solid flanges;
