1. Identify potential site

Once you've thought about the reasons for developing a photovoltaic project, the first step is to identify a potential site.

At this stage, we want to know if :

  • the electricity market is adapted to the country in question (financing, regulation, infrastructure, etc.);

  • the identified site is adapted according to the identified constraints;

  • the electrical network is accessible;

  • the resources required for feasibility studies are available ;

  • means of transport for transferring equipment are available.

Of course, it makes no sense to invest in a photovoltaic plant on the premises of an owner or government that is in default.
