The energy transition is the transition from an energy model based on over 80% fossil fuels (oil, gas and coal) to a new model dominated by non-carbon energies (nuclear and renewable).

During the transition period, we will continue to exploit and use oil, but more rationally and more cleanly, while new energy sources gradually take over.
