8. Door manufacturing
This section deals exclusively with interior doors or flat doors, the most important market for adhesives.
These doors are made up of :
wooden frames assembled at all 4 corners using mortise and tenon joints or glued dowels;
honeycomb cores made of cardboard or wooden laths with, optionally, a polyurethane foam core;
various facings: thin plywood or wood-fibre panels, possibly with decorative coatings such as wood veneers or laminates.
