3. Conclusion

The characterization and modeling of the dynamic behavior of metallic materials is a long-standing field that is still the subject of active research. Indeed, experimental difficulties still call for work to improve test analysis and extend their fields of application. Unlike traditional static testing, there are no norms or standards for dynamic testing (although there are recommendations published for Europe by the DYMAT association ), and the simple extrapolation of quasi-static methods can lead to erroneous results.

The choice of the most appropriate behavioral relationship will then depend on the finesse of the results required and the models available in the calculation code. Validation remains...
