5. Conclusion

The integration of electronic components into a mechanical system implies, in terms of safety, specific techniques for these components and the electronic architecture (hardware) to ensure the safety of a mechatronic system.

In fact, there are techniques for detecting and even correcting errors produced by random or even systematic faults.

These techniques are very common in various fields (rail transport, air transport, energy, process control, automotive, etc.).
