2. The diaphragm's development process
2.1 General
The diaphragm process workshop carries out all heat and surface treatment operations leading to the final properties of the diaphragm. These properties are :
good resistance to fatigue ;
resistance to thermal and stress cycles;
reduced hysteresis;
good corrosion resistance to withstand external aggression (salty seaside environment).
