 INTRODUCTION

A mechanism is a set of solids connected to each other by links. While these linkages determine the nature of the relative movements of the parts they unite, they are also subject to linking actions and thus play a part in the transmission of power. Among the moving parts, some are linked to the frame or casing, which forms an envelope and thus makes it possible to identify the boundaries of the mechanism or machine, in order to create unity.
