diffuser; vane diffuser
Divergent part of a pipe, generally designed to convert kinetic energy into pressure energy.
irrotational flow; écoulement irrotationnel
Flow in which viscosity is neglected and fluid particles do not undergo pure rotation.
steady flow
Flow in which the various characteristics (pressure, temperature, speed, etc.) have a constant value over time.
incompressible fluid; fluide incompressible
A fluid whose volume remains constant under the action of external pressure. The density of a fluid particle is constant.
