2. Verification methods

2.1 General method

Checks are carried out on a trial basis, and at several different levels, depending on the importance of the equipment in the process, its size, price and technical possibilities for testing.

  • Platform testing

    Platform testing with proper installation is well suited to verifying hydraulic performance, as the conditions for testing and measuring are better: homogeneous flow at the pump inlet, suitable measuring points and instruments that are easier to control, presence of qualified personnel, measurement procedures.
