4. Measurement and protection equipment

Every installation, however simple, requires certain characteristics to be measured, and important points to be protected, so that the process can be controlled or even stopped quickly if necessary.

As a reminder, we list the main equipment used in pumping applications and refer the reader to the specialized articles in the Collection, in particular the Measurement and Control treatise and the Piping section of the Mechanical Engineering treatise.
