1. Development trials

Development testing covers all the tests required to complete the technical solutions developed, before they are validated in endurance testing to qualify their performance over time. These tests cover all engine components, and may therefore include thermodynamic, mechanical and thermal aspects, as well as material resistance and the definition of engine control unit operating modes. The test cycles or procedures to be implemented depend on the goal to be achieved, and cost criteria lead to the automation of most tests.
