6.1 Stationary external forces on the blade

In a steady state (aircraft level at constant speed, axis of propeller rotation parallel to aircraft speed, constant propeller speed and flow undisturbed by the aircraft), a blade is subjected to time-independent forces (figure 27 ) which are :

  • centrifugal force ;

  • aerodynamic forces ;
