INTRODUCTION
Industrial safety refers to all technical provisions, organizational measures inside and outside industrial facilities, and human resources designed to :
prevent malicious acts from both inside and outside ;
curb them:
mitigate the human, environmental, financial or image-related consequences of these acts.
The field covered by industrial safety is vast for a company, as it mainly encompasses :
production units,
internal and external logistics (receipt and delivery of products or goods),
computer systems,
to guarantee, through active or passive means, the safety of goods and people, and the long-term future of the company.
Anglo-Saxons make a subtle distinction between security and safety, which is not always the case in France.
With the resurgence of malicious acts and terrorism, national and international legislators have introduced regulations and recommendations designed, among other things, to help manufacturers manage security risks.
Logistics is a field in which the dangers associated with the hazardous nature of the products transported are numerous. But it's not the only vulnerable area.
This article gives the reader an overview of most of the areas impacted by the regulations, and places the transport security plan at the heart of the security issue for companies.
