4. Advantages and limitations of the SRCM method
The SRCM developed by EPRI to reduce development times and associated resources has been successfully applied to maintenance for nuclear, thermal and hydro-electric power plants, mainly in the USA. The assessments carried out highlight the advantages and limitations of SCRM compared with the original RCM defined by Nowlan and Heap.
