1. Feeding device

1.1 Cold channel (core), hot channels

The purpose of the feeder is to transfer material from the press to the mold cavity. Material flow through the feeder generates pressure losses between the front of the press screw and the flow front of the mold cavity. To achieve satisfactory reproducibility of part quality, it is necessary to control the pressure and temperature conditions during cavity filling and material compaction. To achieve this, flow conditions in the feeder must be stabilized, and pressure losses must be minimized.
