2. Bottle washing and rinsing
Returnable glass and recycled PET bottles must be washed for reasons of hygiene and to remove labels.
Glass bottles are pre-soaked in a highly agitated bath of hot water at 75°C; labels are removed by brushing.
A second bath of 80°C soda water, injected into the bottles, disinfects them and removes all foreign bodies, deposits and impurities.
The product is then rinsed twice with clean water and drained. The final inspection is carried out by candling (visual inspection in transparency).
