4. Medium-volume packaging

This type of packaging is generally carried out in-line on lines with average outputs of some 50 containers per hour, but which can be grouped together to produce packaging units of 500 units per hour or more. Carousels can also be run on one, two or even three machines in series, with outputs of up to 1,000 containers an hour.

This category includes the following three types of packaging.

4.1 Table water bottles

Most often installed in public places (waiting rooms, supermarkets, local authorities, etc.), they are emptied free of charge by people who frequent these places.
