7. Conclusion

Some special packaging solutions, such as multi-layer composites, have been developed in line with the possibilities offered by today's materials. Others have remained frozen in a jealously guarded tradition that limits or cautiously introduces technical progress. Still others have subjected packaging to a whole succession of shapes and materials, ending up with complicated solutions, as in the case of the keg with built-in plunger, whose only real advantage over the keg with removable plunger is that, after emptying, the keg will not have been tampered with, soiled, or simply turned upside down without having been completely emptied under various pretexts that the brewer could not verify in the past. In fact, it's with this in mind that divers have been developed who can't be dismantled without special tools that only the packer has.
