3.1 Capping
Capping is the final operation in the bottling of liquid foodstuffs.
It will be conditioned by four parameters:
nature of the materials used to make the plug ;
type of container to be capped and, in particular, its ring;
tolerances and characteristics of the cap, ring and capping operations ;
cap application.
