3. Container transfer
Container transfer essentially concerns the way in which bottles and cans move from one packaging machine to another.
There are two different principles:
the packing block and free conveying on intermediate ground or air conveyors;
the combination of the two systems, which has become widespread, especially with form fill and seal processes and continuous control in container packaging.
