Biomass; Biomass

Material of biological origin excluding material embedded in geological and/or fossilized formations (Standard NF EN 16575: 2014).

Composat (common parlance: Compound ); Compound

Intimate mixture of one (or more) polymer(s) with other substances such as fillers, plasticizers or colorants, which is used as a raw material in machines designed to manufacture plastic objects (Vocabulaire des matériaux, technologie des plastiques – Journal officiel de la République Française du 16/10/2011).
