1.1 Pallet definition

The pallet is the load on the pallet, i.e. all the packages placed on the pallet.

Palletize: group or stack packages (or unit loads) on pallets or other supports, for handling, transport and storage.

De-palletize: unbundle into unit loads.

Package (or unit load): smallest indivisible unit used in palletizing or depalletizing operations.

Row: horizontal linear grouping of packages.

Stack: vertical linear grouping of packages.

Layer: grouping of several rows on a horizontal plane.

Multipile: grouping of several stacks...
