7. Rules of use

  • Commissioning

If the crane (or gantry crane) is large enough to be transported fully assembled (see road jig), it will be installed in a single operation. In all other cases, the equipment will have to be assembled on the ground before it can be installed, so always provide a clear area for this preparation. This operation requires lifting equipment ranging from a simple hoist installed on the roof structure to a truck-mounted or self-loading crane weighing several tons, so you need to provide access for these machines.

  • Maintenance and operating manuals

Each bridge or gantry must be accompanied by an instruction manual giving the following information:

  • instructions for commissioning: installation, assembly,...
