Tests
All equipment must be tested for suitability for use by the manufacturer before or during commissioning by the user:
factory tests: always in compliance with standards and regulations, each product is tested individually and is the subject of a manufacturer's report stipulating the test conditions and loads applied;
post-installation testing: the equipment is tested on its tracks with static (nominal load × 1.25) and dynamic (nominal load × 1.1) overloads, usually by a body authorized by the EEC Ministries of Labor, at the customer's expense. This body draws up a report which sanctions the intervention.
