5.1 The use of calibration certificates

Once calibrated, all you have to do is use your equipment.

But how do you exploit calibration when you use your equipment between two calibration points (calibration at 10 ˚C and 50 ˚C and use at 30 ˚C)?

The calibration certificate is used to calculate the equipment accuracy error (or correction) and the calibration uncertainty (table 1 ).

If you want to know the correction at 30 ˚C, you can estimate the correction (table 2 ):

  • by linear interpolation between 10 ˚C and 50 ˚C ;
