8. Evolution towards the Internet of Things
The development of the Internet of Things will be based on increasingly intelligent, connected objects that will enable companies to improve their productivity, create new services for customers and thus grow their business. Combined with sensors, more autonomous objects will deliver large quantities of data that will be processed and analyzed by the information system.
However, the main challenge for companies will be to successfully integrate these new data sources into their information systems, while at the same time being able to distribute the information to the partners and customers concerned.
