5. Performance comparison

Tables 2 and 3 list the various families of dielectrics studied, with examples to illustrate their performance. It should be borne in mind, however, that for a given dielectric, performance is strongly influenced by the optimization of manufacturing processes to improve permittivity, dielectric loss, sintering temperature and time, or to reduce the frequency and temperature sensitivity of ceramics.
