1.1 Water cycle in nature

In nature, water in its various states follows a vast cycle, summarized in the diagram at 1 .

The various stages of this [9] cycle are as follows:

Precipitation: atmospheric water vapour condenses into clouds, generating precipitation in the form of rain, snow or hail. Precipitation, which is the source of almost all our freshwater reserves, varies from region to region, depending on climate and relief, which are essential factors.
