2.1 First experience of nature
The human species was born of nature, wild and vulnerable, because it was "in the middle" of the food chain, feeding on small animals and plants. It's only in the last 100,000 years that we've climbed to the "top" of the food chain, by developing ways of hunting large animals. . The great discovery was fire, which enabled them to protect themselves from predators, but also to eat better by cooking meat. Although animals and plants also have means of communication, it was speech and language that enabled Homo sapiens to come together...
