5.1 Working the soil

The impact of tillage was measured on microbial communities and macrofauna, but no references were found for nematofauna and microarthropods (figure 8 , see table 2 for bibliographical references). The term "tillage" is used here to refer to work in the inter-row, and is generally compared to a grassed inter-row.
